Day 6 - Curtin Springs to Uluru 120km
"Uluru! Woke up early but really took my time this morning. With only 100km to go there was no need to rush. My campground neighbour offered me tea which I graciously accepted, where I also got a couple pieces of toast which was awesome! Hit the road and fortunately had no headwinds to contend with. With a full belly the first 60km were easy and I stopped at 70km to have lunch."
Finally reaching my destination I was absolutely amazed by the power the rock had, it drew me in and blew all my expectations. No matter how many times you have seen Uluru in photos or videos, you can't quite comprehend how beautiful it is until you are there:
Eventually made it to Ayers rock resort and made my way to Uluru. Half the time my mouth was gaping open in awe, the sheer size of it took me off guard, the colour changed as the sun slowly began to set. I walked the 10km loop walk and also caught a good sunset where I was blown away by the amazing views."

With this it concluded my cycle trip. I spent the next couple of days exploring Uluru and Kata Juta and took a bus back to Alice Springs. An amazing trip. I was fortunate enough to capture my trip on video during times of happiness and times of depression, below is a video summary:
